Two months ago today, the Broadway Theatre opened its doors for the first time for a wonderful performance of the Sorcerer’s Apprentice (I can’t believe it’s been two months already!.) Stage adaptation of David Walliams book to visit Letchworth
The premier theatre production based on The First Hippo on the Moon, an original children’s book from best-selling author comic actor David Walliams, is set to visit Broadway Theatre on 10-11 April.

You may already know me, Jason Valentine, I am the Venues Manager for the Heritage Foundation, and you will often see me with my team at the Broadway. Well, what a year 2016 has been – we had an amazing 80th birthday celebration in August, and we want to say a big thank you to all our customers for patiently bearing with us while all the hard work has been going on behind the scenes building the new theatre.

The life-affirming story centres around two free-thinking, spirited residents of a retirement home who spend their time running rings round the home’s oppressive management and their own families.
