Broadway Cinema is inviting film fans to put their Halloween credentials to the ultimate test with Broadway Scare Dare, a special season of spooky screenings featuring some of cinema’s most iconic horror, fantasy and cult classics.
Running from Thursday 22 October to Sunday 1 November, Broadway Scare will bring five much-loved Halloween films back to the big screen but there’s a challenge for those brave enough to take it on.

- The World's End (15) — Wednesday 7th October at 20:30
- The Exorcist: Director’s Cut (18) — Thursday 22 October at 20:00
- An American Werewolf in London (15) — Friday 23 October at 20:30
- Edward Scissorhands (12A) — Saturday 24 October at 14:00

From demonic possession and werewolf transformations to gothic romance, time-bending cult classics and Halloween witchcraft, there’s something for every kind of spooky-season film fan.

Film classifications apply to every screening. Please check the age rating before booking and attending. Guests must meet the relevant BBFC age requirements for the film they wish to see, and proof of age may be requested where applicable.

To take part, film fans simply need to attend three different eligible Broadway Scare screenings during the campaign period and retain their valid tickets. After completing their third film, participants can show all three tickets to Broadway Cinema staff to claim their Broadway Baddie title and T-shirt.
Repeated viewings of the same film do not count towards the three-film challenge.

- The Campaign
The Broadway Scare campaign (“Campaign”) is run by Broadway Cinema (“Broadway”, “we”, “us” or “our”). - Eligibility
The Campaign is open to customers who purchase tickets to eligible screenings at Broadway Cinema during the Campaign period.
Participants must comply with the age classification of each film they attend. Proof of age may be requested where applicable.
- How to Take Part
To qualify for the Broadway Baddie title and prize, participants must:
- Attend three (3) different films included in the Broadway Scare campaign.
- Hold a valid ticket for each of the three screenings attended.
- Present all three tickets to a member of Broadway Cinema staff to verify participation.
The eligible films are:
- The World's End (15)
- The Exorcist: Director’s Cut (18)
- An American Werewolf in London (15)
- Edward Scissorhands (12A)
- Donnie Darko (15)
- Hocus Pocus (PG)
Repeated viewings of the same film do not count as three separate films.
- Prize
Participants who successfully complete the three-film challenge will receive:
- The title of Broadway Baddie; and
- One free Broadway Baddie T-shirt, subject to availability.
Only one T-shirt will be awarded per qualifying participant.
T-shirt sizes and styles are subject to availability. No cash or alternative prize will be offered.
- Tickets
Tickets must be valid tickets for the eligible Broadway Scare screenings attended by the participant.
Tickets may be checked by Broadway Cinema staff. Tickets that have been altered, duplicated, cancelled or otherwise deemed invalid may not be accepted.
Broadway Cinema reserves the right to request reasonable evidence of attendance.
- Campaign Period
The Campaign applies to the eligible screenings taking place between Wednesday 7th October and Sunday 1 November, as advertised by Broadway Cinema.
Broadway Cinema reserves the right to amend screening times, dates or availability where necessary.
- Claiming the Prize
Participants should present their three eligible tickets to Broadway Cinema staff after completing their third qualifying film, or at another time/location specified by Broadway Cinema.
The prize must be claimed within a reasonable period following completion of the challenge and while stock remains available.
- General Conditions
Participation in the Campaign is subject to these Terms & Conditions and the normal terms of admission of Broadway Cinema.
Broadway Cinema reserves the right to refuse participation or withhold the prize where it reasonably believes that these Terms & Conditions have not been followed or where fraudulent or improper activity has taken place.
Broadway Cinema reserves the right to withdraw, amend or extend the Campaign where reasonably necessary.
- Film Classification
Participants are responsible for ensuring that they meet the relevant age requirements for each film they wish to attend. Standard BBFC age restrictions apply. - Acceptance of Terms
By participating in the Broadway Scare campaign, participants are deemed to have accepted these Terms & Conditions.
