Broadway are committed to creating an inclusive environment in our cinema. We are hosting accessible cinema screenings on the last Sunday of the month, so that you can have all the experience of the cinema but in a calmer and more informal environment.
What is a relaxed screening?
A relaxed screening is specially adapted to be accessible to a wider range of neurodiverse audiences, such as those who are autistic, those with a learning disability, or anyone with additional sensory needs.
How will it work?
At our relaxed screenings the lights will be dimmed, but not turned off completely. The sound will be lowered, your are free to make noise and our audience is welcome to enter and leave the auditorium freely if they feel overwhelmed. There will also be a chill out zone in our bar area for anyone who needs to leave the show for a quieter environment.
The audience will be smaller and we will be selling a limited number of tickets compared to our other shows. When booking, if you look at our seating plan the greyed out lines are seats that will be left empty.
Staff are trained and on hand to assist with any help you or other audience members may need while you're at Broadway.
